Privacy

This page describes how this Failsafe website handles information today. It is a draft. It is not legal advice, and it is not an approved privacy policy.

This website, not the future product

The public Failsafe website is a static interactive demo. It does not create accounts, accept passwords, take payment, or deliver the Failsafe application.

This page covers data processing that happens on this website. It does not describe telemetry, accounts, or downloads for the Failsafe software itself, because that software is not delivered from this site yet.

What this site does not collect

The Sign in page is a picture of a future account flow. This site does not send email addresses or passwords anywhere, and it does not store credentials.

The Wallet preview is also a picture. It does not create an Apple Wallet pass, upload a pass file, or add anything to your phone.

The sample recovery key uses the identifier FS-2481-6193. That number is a harmless sample for this preview. It is not a license, password, or proof of purchase.

What can be saved on your device

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Failsafe code on these pages can save:

Those values stay on your device. This website does not send them to a Failsafe server.

Hosting

The files are served as a static website. The host may keep ordinary server logs of requests, such as the date of a visit, the kind of browser, and an IP address. This page does not read those logs or store them in your browser.

How to change or clear saved choices

Use Cookies in the footer to open the preference notice again. You can also clear this site's stored data in your browser settings. There is no published support inbox on this website, so this page does not list an email address or mailing address.
